AURA was founded on the premise that no detail is too small. Our clients expect the very best and our team is trained in premium products and techniques to ensure we surpass your expectations. Our Hair Salon and Spa was designed to make certain your visit isn’t just a haircut or a color but an experience. Sara Hinchliffe
Sara Hinchliffe is the beauty and the brains behind AURA Salon and the Spa at AURA. Known as a master stylist and colorist, she is certified in cosmetology and has her bachelor’s degree in Business & Finance.
Sara’s business background combined with such a depth of beauty expertise is rare in the industry and sets Sara apart as a Salon and Day Spa owner. This education and experience has given her a broader outlook that she is able to apply to both her clients and the business. Sara’s training and growth continued as a J Beverly Hills National Color Educator and an American Board Certified Haircolorist.
As AURA has grown Sara spends most of her time developing the AURA team and taking care of the business and time behind the chair has become somewhat limited. While she could easily spend all of her time working on the business Sara is grateful to have a day here and there to see a few hair clients and express her more creative side.
Sara is incredibly passionate about the client experience one receives at AURA whether directly through her hands or those of her team. She works tirelessly to ensure her staff are extremely knowledgeable and provide the best experience possible.
Throughout her adult life Sara never stopped seeking out ways to educate herself and she is a proponent of every staff member doing the same. Sara encourages AURA’s team to seek out education opportunities to sharpen their skills but also provides ongoing classes and training to all her staff on a regular basis.
Sara is supported by her husband Matt who works in the software industry. Matt actually scribbled the AURA logo on a restaurant napkin while the 2 were on a date, shortly after that he bought Sara AURA’s website domain as a surprise gift, some 4 or 5 years before AURA became a reality. The couple has four beautiful girls at home that look up to their entrepreneur mom.
Opening AURA was a dream of Sara’s for several years and she is extremely grateful for the success her and her team have found. She feels privileged to have such talented people working around her and so many wonderful customers who call AURA home.
